The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with a renowned health system to hire a dedicated and experienced Clinical Manager LCSW to lead crisis services in the emergency department and inpatient units.
The Clinical Manager LCSW will be crucial in supervising clinicians and social workers in both the emergency department and inpatient units, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to professional standards and protocols.
Responsibilities
Supervise a team of clinicians and social workers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the delivery of effective mental health services in the emergency department and inpatient units.
Conduct regular individual and group supervision sessions to review cases, assess clinical needs, and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Oversee the implementation of evidence-based practices and clinical protocols to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff members, providing feedback and addressing any performance issues or concerns in a timely and constructive manner.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and initiatives to enhance the overall effectiveness and efficiency of mental health services within the emergency department and inpatient units.
Serve as a liaison between staff members, management, and other stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.
Clinical experience providing mental health services in a healthcare setting, with demonstrated experience in supervision and leadership roles.
Strong knowledge of clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for a diverse patient population, including individuals with acute psychiatric and behavioral health needs.
