The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our award-winning hospital client to hire a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner. Nestled in the tropical paradise of Hawaii, the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will play a pivotal role in providing high-quality, evidence-based care to neonates and their families.
Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, the NICU NP will assess, diagnose, and manage the complex health needs of newborns in a Level III NICU. Our client prides itself on fostering a supportive and collaborative environment where every team member is valued and encouraged to thrive
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive health assessments of neonates, including physical examinations and medical histories.
Develop and implement evidence-based care plans tailored to the individual needs of each patient.
Collaborate with attending physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Perform procedures such as intubations, central line placements, and lumbar punctures as needed.
Educate parents and caregivers on neonatal care techniques, medication administration, and developmental milestones.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care and promote positive outcomes for neonates.
Requirement
Master's degree in Nursing with a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner specialization.
Current certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP-BC) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB).
Valid Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and Registered Nurse RN license in the state of Hawaii.
Experience working in a Level III NICU setting.
