Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a team of dedicated nurses, ensuring they are well-trained, motivated, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to provide the highest standard of care.
- Ensure adherence to evidence-based practice guidelines and the implementation of the latest medical advancements.
- Champion a patient-centric approach to care delivery, ensuring patients and their families feel heard, respected, and well-informed.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Medical Surgical unit, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Drive initiatives to enhance the quality of care provided, continually assessing and improving departmental processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a medical surgical setting.
- At least 2 years for progressive nursing leadership experience.
