The team of highly skilled nurses within the CVICU is looking for a Nurse Manager to lead by example, set expectations, and develop strategies to optimize patient outcomes and achieve common unit goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee CVICU nursing staff, ensuring the team is consistently providing evidence-based care and working collaboratively to achieve common goals
- Lead the nursing staff utilizing motivational tactics, team-building exercises, and compassionate communication
- Evaluate current workflows, analyze and work to improve and implement new policies or procedures to improve patient safety and efficiency within the CVICU
- Collaborate with the Nurse Director and Clinical Leadership to manage and optimize department resources, including staffing, budget management, and supplies
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN License in Texas
- Strong clinical nursing experience in cardiac care critical care units such as CCU/ICU/CVICU
