Position: Clinical Nurse Educator, Professional Development

Salary: $118,000-$125,000 + Full Benefits

The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with our hospital client to lead all recruitment in hiring a Clinical Nurse Educator to facilitate the development of nursing staff by creating and delivering educational programs and resources. 

The Professional Development Nurse Educator is responsible for enhancing nurses' clinical and professional competence while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and standards of practice.
 

Responsibilities 

• Design, develop, and update nursing education programs, courses, and materials based on best practices and evolving healthcare standards.

• Ensure that nursing staff maintains clinical competence by providing ongoing training, skills assessments, and opportunities for professional development.

• Stay updated on state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and best practices in nursing education. Ensure that education programs align with these requirements.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, nursing faculty, and administrators to promote interdisciplinary education and improve patient care outcomes.

• Serve as a mentor and resource for nursing staff, offering guidance, support, and opportunities for skill enhancement.

 

Requirements 

• Registered Nurse (RN) with an active license in the state of New York.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or higher in Nursing Education or a related field preferred.

• Certification as a Nurse Educator (CNE) or willingness to obtain is ideal!

• Several years of clinical nursing experience in the relevant specialty.
