Position: RN Assistant Manager- Emergency Department (ED)
Employment Type: Full Time, Evenings
Location: Yonkers, NY
Salary: $100,000- $120,000

An innovative hospital with a newly renovated emergency unit is seeking an Assistant Registered Nurse Manager (ANM) to uphold the center's mission, drive positive patient outcomes, and advocate for the nursing team and patients. 

This Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) will provide leadership to the unit by inspiring and encouraging their colleagues, identifying talented nurses, setting a positive example, and effectively communicating any concerns. The ultimate goal is to continuously improve and ensure that every opportunity is taken to excel beyond previous achievements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delegation of the ED unit on the evening shift

• Provide assistance with direct patient care as needed

• Collaborate across departments to ensure high quality and cost-effective care to all patients

• Work in collaboration with the Manager/Director/CNO to ensure goal attainment

• Enthusiastically participate in training and orientation of new nurses

• Calmly handle emergency cases that require special attention

Requirements 

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

• Current New York RN Nursing License required

• ACLS & PALS Certification required

• 5+ years ED experience required

• 1+ years supervisory/management experience

• BLS, PALS, ACLS TNCC, ENPC, or CEN preferred

• Master’s Degree in Nursing is a plus
