Treatments at this facility include Residential, Outpatient, Mental Health, Adult Addiction, Medication Assistance Close to Home, and Teen Addiction.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) alongside the Clinician Manager
- Act as a resource for the BHC team regarding internalized and externalized child, adolescent, or adult conditions
- Mentor and support therapists and counselors as needed; lead by example or evaluation and pro-actively engage through education and other resources
- Assist with quality improvement projects and program development within the department
- Through individual and group therapy sessions, compassionately encourage patients and families to discuss emotions or experiences in a safe and encouraging space
Requirements
- LCSW, LICSW, LMFT, LPC, or LADC in the state of Connecticut
- Masters Degree Required
- Experience working within psychiatry including child, adolescent, and adult
- Experience in substance abuse and group therapy treatment
- Familiarity with supporting and supervising clinicians is a plus!
