The ARRA Group, a boutique healthcare recruitment firm, has partnered with a renowned health system to hire a Licensed Behavioral Health Psychiatric Inpatient Clinician to join a dynamic team of professionals.
The ideal candidate will hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree and possess licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut. This position requires a passion for helping individuals with mental health disorders and a solid commitment to delivering high-quality patient care within an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' mental health status, psychosocial functioning, and treatment needs.
Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual, group, and family therapy, to address a range of psychiatric disorders and co-occurring conditions.
Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and other clinical staff to coordinate care and promote a multidisciplinary approach to treatment.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Requirements
Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Connecticut.
Experience working with adolescents, adults, and older adults in an inpatient psychiatric setting.
Training in specialized treatment modalities or populations (e.g., substance use disorders, eating disorders, trauma therapy, gender identity, women’s health)
